Oof-ta!

My sister and I recently discovered that we have different words for picking up our little ones and she said her friend does too. Turns out she and her friend picked up these words from their mother-in-laws without evening noticing where they got it from. Me, not sure where mine's from...

Me: "oof-ta!"

Shay: "opi-day!"

Vanessa: "op-ala!"

Goofy, goofy. What's yours?

  1. You guys are so cute. Maggie is getting so big! I wish I could've met her while we were there! Hmmmm...not sure I have a word like that. But, I know that if I hung out with you girls more often, I'd develop one quite quickly! SURGE!

  2. i can't remember what words i used for the babies, but now when i pick them up i say the nonsensical "holy bijoly" because they're so big and heavy. i become sentimental when i think about how soon they will be too big for me to just scoop up easily into my arms...seriously- those days are on the countdown and that is sad.
